Bryson City Firecracker 5k – July 4, 2012 – Bryson City, NC

Another option in the robust lineup of Western North Carolina regional firecracker races. This race is part of a day-long fourth of July festival that culminates with (like most fourth of July hootenannies) a fireworks show.  The race starts at 8 AM.

This race features a discount for youths and pricing options with or WITHOUT a t-shirt (for those of you with at least a drawer full of racing shirts, including some at the bottom that haven’t seen the light of day in like 10 years).

ABOUT THE COURSE

RACE COURSE: Flat, paved roadway which starts and ends near the Swain County Administration building with a loop in the Deep Creek area north of town, adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
