Coon Dog Day 5k - July 7, 2012 - Saluda, NC

This is a great race held in conjunction with the Coon Dog Day Festival in the quaint town of Saluda, NC.  Information from the race organizers:

The Coon Dog Day 5K run is part of the grand tradition of Saluda’s annual Coon Dog Day festival, which is now in its 48th proud year of existence. Join in the festivities with this fun and challenging run through historic downtown Saluda and the surrounding tree-lined streets we all know and love. Jump start your morning with the 5K and spend the rest of the day enjoying the local food and craft vendors, live entertainment, hometown parade, and live coon hound events downtown!
