This is the 20th annual Frostbite race at Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher. Last year, in addition to the 5k, a 10k option was introduced. I ran the 10k and thought the course was not much more difficult than the Hot Chocolate 10k course. However, I’ve heard that the course has been changed but don’t have the details. This year the 5k is part of the Asheville Track Club 2012 Grand Prix series. This is an afternoon race starting at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon.
