It was a great day for a race at Lake Junaluska and 87 participants came out to finish the 10k. A big “shout out” to Bart and Eve Smith and Casey Camp.  Here are comments from Bart Smith on the 10k …

Beautiful weather and cloud cover. Most of the course was relatively flat near the start and finish but hilly on the east side of the lake; killer hill between 4 and 5 mile mark that had a lot of runners gearing down to walking mode. I finished 3rd overall so I was pleased with that. Eve finished 4th overall female. Times were slow due to the nature of the course. This was our first time visit to Lake Junaluska and we really enjoyed ourselves.
